Above is my journal spread with Wordles and Pictures and my dreams for January 4 and 5. Below are close-ups of each page and some easier-to-read stuff from the pages so if (big IF) you are interested in reading my weird dreams, you won’t have to squint at my scribbles on the page.
This will be my format as I finally get all the work play I’ve been doing in my journal posted and caught up to date.
On January 4 the Wordle was LAYER (above) so I drew all the layers I wore to go for a walk on that cold (for Berkeley) day. All I remember from my dream that night was “something about a grey poodle.”
On January 5 (above), Wordle was SLEEK so I drew the for real “Sleek Unicornfish” naso hexacanthus and the dreams I illustrated were:
- I was singing a duet with somebody to maybe a Beatles song. This would never happen in real life because a) I’m pretty much tone deaf, and b) I have terrible stage fright!
- My dearly departed dad had a six foot long bamboo fountain pen. We’ll just leave off any extremely icky Freudian analysis here, thank you very much.
- I was at a mountain cabin out hiking and there are bears that (surprisingly) I’m not afraid of. I let the baby bears in the house and put out a big bowl of water for the mama bears outside but there is a bat in the water bowl.
